Terms, Refunds & Privacy
Last updated October 2026.
RollFate is a free online dice roller. Everything you need to roll, alone or with friends, is free and needs no account. Some extra dice sets can be bought. These pages explain how that works. They cover rollfate.com and the RollFate Android app, which runs the same site.
Terms of sale
- What you buy. A dice set is a cosmetic look for your dice on RollFate. It doesn't change how dice roll or the results. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use the set on RollFate. It has no cash value and can't be resold or traded.
- Your account. Buying needs a free account (Sign in with Google), so the set stays with you on every device you sign in on. Signing in is only needed to buy. Everything else works without it.
- Payment. Checkout is handled by Stripe. Stripe acts as the reseller (merchant of record) for these purchases and handles payment, sales tax or VAT, fraud checks and billing questions, under the terms shown at checkout. RollFate never sees your card details.
- Delivery. A set unlocks within moments of your payment going through, on every device signed in to your account.
- Prices are shown before you buy and can change for future purchases. They never change what you already own.
- Other players in your room see the set you roll with. That's part of the fun, but it doesn't give them the set.
- Changes and availability. We may update, rename or stop selling sets. A set you bought stays usable for as long as RollFate runs dice sets. If we ever retired one entirely, we'd give you a comparable set or a refund.
- Misuse. We may remove access to sets obtained through fraud, chargebacks the buyer won, or abuse of the site.
Refund policy
All sales are final, except where the law requires otherwise, or if something doesn't work as described. In that case, contact us and we'll fix it or refund you.
- Something broken? For example, a set didn't unlock, or doesn't show up or display correctly. Tell us through the Feedback button on RollFate (choose "Bug Report") and include the email of the Google account you bought with. We'll fix it or refund you.
- Your legal rights. If you live somewhere with a legal right to cancel digital purchases (for example the EU or UK), that right applies as the law sets it out. By choosing to unlock a set immediately at checkout, you may give up that cancellation right once the set is delivered, as permitted by those laws.
- Refunds and chargebacks remove the set from your account. That includes a refund we give, one Stripe gives, or a chargeback your bank decides in your favor.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method. Your bank may take several days to show them.
Privacy
- Playing without an account: RollFate signs you in anonymously in the background so multiplayer rooms work. Your name, settings and roll history stay in your browser.
- If you sign in with Google: we receive your Google account's name, email address and a user ID from Google, and use them only to keep your purchases with your account and to show who's signed in.
- Purchases: we store which sets your account owns and a reference to the Stripe payment (amount, currency, date). Stripe handles your payment details. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Analytics: rollfate.com uses Google Analytics and its own anonymous usage counts (like how many rolls happen) to understand how the site is used.
- Deleting your data: sign out to go back to anonymous play, or delete your account (see below).
- We don't sell your data.
Delete your account
You can delete your RollFate account yourself, on rollfate.com or in the RollFate Android app:
- Tap your name at the top of the page (on phones: Settings, then your name under Account).
- Tap Delete account, confirm, and sign in with Google once more to prove it's you.
- What's deleted, right away: your RollFate sign-in (the Google name, email address and user ID we received) and the record of which dice sets your account owns. Those sets are gone, and deleting doesn't refund them.
- What's kept: anonymous usage counts that carry only a random ID, never your name or email, and the payment records Stripe must keep by law.
- On your device: your name, settings and roll history are stored in your browser, not on our servers. Clear RollFate's site data in your browser (or the app's storage) to remove them.
- Can't sign in any more? Send a request through the Feedback button with the email of the account, and we'll delete it within 30 days.
